MAVEA LLC (“MAVEA”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) takes your privacy seriously. We have prepared this privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”) to explain our practices and the choices you have with respect to the collection, use and disclosure of any information collected from you during your visit to this Web site (the “Web Site”). This Privacy Policy covers only information collected by us through the Web Site and does not cover any information collected by us offline. Please read carefully this Privacy Policy before you use the Web Site for any purpose. Your use of the Web Site represents your consent to and acceptance of this Privacy Policy. When you submit your personally identifiable information on the Web Site, you are giving your consent to the collection, use and disclosure of such information pursuant to the terms and conditions of this Privacy Policy, and representing that such information is true and accurate. 2. Use of Your Personal Identifiable Information. When you provide us with your personally identifiable information, we may use such information to perform a variety of business activities, such as to manage our member registry, provide you with customer service, notify you about new products and special promotions, and provide you with other information that we think may be of interest to you.

- E-Newsletters. If you register with us through the Web Site, you may choose to receive from us a newsletter by email that may be sent by us from time to time. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time by clicking on the “unsubscribe” link at the bottom of any email newsletter sent to you and following the instructions. You may also unsubscribe at any time as provided below in the “Opt-Out Options” section.
- Public Areas. We may activate bulletin boards, forums, or similar areas on the Web Site where users could share information about themselves that will be accessible by other users of the Web Site (“Public Areas”). We may include all or a portion of the information posted in Public Areas in the newsletters described above. By posting any information on the Public Areas, you hereby acknowledge and agree that any information you share in a Public Area (including, personally identifiable information) is available to the public. - Sweepstakes. We may offer sweepstakes or similar promotional events on the Web Site, for individuals above the age of 21, subject to the terms and conditions of such sweepstakes or similar promotional events. We may collect personally identifiable information from you when you enter such sweepstakes or similar promotional events, and use such information to select winners. In addition, we may keep your personally identifiable information for record retention purposes. We will not use any information you provide to enter sweepstakes or similar promotional events other than as set forth in this Privacy Policy, or as specifically disclosed with respect to such sweepstakes or similar promotional events.
- Surveys and Polls. You may choose to take part in surveys or polls on the Web Site. When you participate in a survey or poll, you may be asked to provide additional information about yourself voluntarily, which may include your personally identifiable information. Except as otherwise provided in this Privacy Policy or disclosed to you when you participate in the survey or poll, any information you provide in connection with a survey or poll will not be included in the results of the survey or poll published on the Web Site or otherwise disclosed to or shared with other users of the Web Site or third parties, except in a form that does not identify you as an individual.
- Send to a Friend. When you use our “Send to a Friend” service, we email your message to your friend’s email address and identify your email address as the sender. We do not retain, sell or share the content of the email or the recipient’s address.
- Emails to MAVEA. When you send us an email we may retain your email address and the content of the message email you send. This Privacy Policy does not apply to content, business information, ideas, concepts or inventions that you send to MAVEA by email. If you want to keep any information private or proprietary, please do not send such information in an email or otherwise post such information to MAVEA.
3. Disclosure of Your Personal Identifiable Information. Except as otherwise provided in this Privacy Policy, we will not give, share, sell, or trade your personally identifiable information to or with any third parties other than under the following circumstances:
- Affiliates. We may share your personally identifiable information with our affiliates in compliance with applicable laws.
- Fulfillment of Services. We may retain other companies and individuals to perform functions consistent with our Privacy Policy on our behalf, such as customer support, Web hosting companies, companies that fill product orders or coordinate mailings, data analysis firms, information technology consultants and email service providers. Such third parties may be provided with access to personally identifiable information needed to perform their functions, but will not be permitted to use such information for any other purpose.

4. Collection and Use of Non-Personally Identifiable Information. When you visit the Web Site, we may store your Internet protocol (IP) address and monitor your activity on the Web Site. This information will not be stored in a manner that is personally identifiable with you. 2. Send us an e-mail with your current contact information to: privacypolicy@mavea.net.
If you send an e-mail, please be sure to include your full name, address, phone number and e-mail address and indicate specifically what type of marketing communications (e.g., e-mail, direct mail and/or telemarketing) you do not wish to receive any longer. This will enable us to identify you in our system and process your request.
We will take appropriate steps to fulfill your request to opt-out of marketing communications. However, please note that it may take a few days to process your request during which you may still receive marketing communications from us. Also, please note that you may still receive from us business-related communications, such as product recall information.
8. Updating Your Information. You can update your personal information with us by logging into your online account or by notifying us by email at: privacypolicy@mavea.net.
9. Business Transfers. We may sell, transfer or otherwise share some or all of our assets, including information collected from users of our Web Site, including personally identifiable information, in connection with a merger, reorganization, or sale of assets, or in the event of bankruptcy. By submitting your personal information on or through the Web Site, you agree that your information may be transferred to third parties under such or similar circumstances.

11. Children. This Web Site is not intended for use by children. You can determine when this Privacy Policy was last modified by checking the “Effective Date” legend at the top of the Privacy Policy. Any minor change, update, modification or revision to this Privacy Policy shall become effective immediately without notice by posting such changes on the Web Site. If you do not agree to be bound by the terms of the new, updated, modified or revised Privacy Policy, you agree to immediately stop using the Web Site and notify us that your personal information should be deleted.
